I just talked to Langhorne and PDL and they both seemed pretty rude. Also the lady at PDL wouldnt tell me anything unless i gave her ALL my personal info first. Even though I told her how many online lenders I had and how much I owed. She said she needed all my personal info first. Then I did not realize they didnt handle storefront loans at all. I need help. What shoud i DO??? I dont know if I should shut my acct down either. Im confused

I just signed up with Superior Debt Service's and my Wells Fargo credit card company called to collect. They asked if i could pay $74 to get out of the 120 late cycle and into a 90 day late. Would any of you give me your opinion on making this payment or just letting Superior Debt Service's handle them?

I need some advice. I bounced a check to Cash One in California in Sept. for $300 I finally was able to pay it. I opened a new checking and sent them a new check, which they received Oct 29, they called me at work today stating that they could not accept the check, it had to be in the form of a cashiers check or debt card. I told them that I was at work and would take care of it this weekend. Two minutes later a man from Cash One headquaters calls me sternly asking me when I'm going to take care of this check.

I don't know what to say. I don't think I'm better than anyone else, who posts on this forum. Trying to help someone and getting wonderful help for myself. Do you REALLY think I deserve this honor?? I see that the 'Army Reserve' thing was included in the post. Thank you, again.

Ugh, I can't stand this crap anymore. I've had NES hounding me for my husbands $9,000 credit card debt that charged off. They wanted $2,500 this month!! I told them there is no way I could do that. Besides, they wanted their money before my 30 days to dispute the account was even up. So, today I drive down to Baltimore to borrow money from my mom just to get them off my back. Mr. McElrath calls while I'm driving and I told him that I was driving and I'd call him back.

Some of my collectors have offered settlement options up to 70% of my actual balance. Should I take these offers? i worry that if I do, that it will not positively effect my credit as much as paying off the total balance would. I want to get the maximum amount of positive action on my credit as quickly as possible, within financial reason. Any suggestions?

I settled my first account on my own. It was originally with Macys but was currently with a collection agency. My original balance was $902 and they settled for $541. WOOHOO! One down, nine or so to go. Thanks for everyone's help on here. I'm SO happy I found this site.

Was looking at using a debt settlement company to help with credit card debt. I have spoken with them, but not sure how legit it is. Does anybody have any experience with them, either Good or Bad? Please share.
