How do I actually join this forum and not appear as a guest?

Hello, I notice quite a few times CCCS has been recommended on this forum. May I ask anyone who has had dealings with them, if they are reliable. I know that they are on the Suze Orman Site, and that they charge a flat fee of $25 to set up, and then they charge $25 a month. Maybe they are more experienced to deal with the creditors and can get better settlement amounts? Any thoughts would be great, thanks.

Does anyone know if MCM has an email address? If not, what's their physical address?

I am going to be filing soon and I have a few questions I would appreciate if anyone can help. I took a trip to visit my mother, would that affect my eligibility? I have been paying a creditor more than $100 a month, but it was part of a settlement offer, and also a debt consolidation company, total so far for that is (300), would that affect it too? Thanks

Hi there. I have what might be a very complicated Palisades problem. About two months ago while I was looking for a new apartment, a landlord I wanted to rent from told me I had an outstanding debt for an at&t phone bill for $6000.00. I knew this was impossible because I use them as my phone service. I told the landlord there had to be some kind of mistake and he said he would show me the credit report he ran. The credit report said it was from Palisades. So I Googled them to find out they are a total scam and I called them up to find out exactly what they were trying to pull on me.

I received a several calls from a law firm for Citibank. I have not yet answered these calls as I'm scared to death of them. Is it possible to call Citibank and have to reinstate my account so that I may negotiate with them instead of the attorneys?

I am refiancing my house I settled with one credit card already and capitol is not budging so I can go through with the loan until we agree and the way its going not going to happen. My question is, is there a company for debt settlement that will negiogate a one time thing pay and be done?I am waiting to be served with court papers anyday now.This is a debt form like a year ago.

My husband has one loan with citibank, given to his business which was set up as a C-Corp and the actual business bank account that was at citibank has now been closed.

After a lengthy process, I received notice this week that three accounts that were charged-off in the past have been deleted from all three of my credit reports. The items in question were charged off by Capital One about 4 years ago and since that time, I paid them in full through collection agencies. The disputes came when the paid in full was not documented on the credit reports. I submitted all required documentation to the original creditors, but they never updated it.

Does anybody know some good tipps about diet? Need some weight loss you know :)
