Hi all, what are the possibilities of running a credit repair business and how is the business run. What are the legalities and formalities involved in that so that one can make the arrangements to start his own credit repair business?
I have had many issues with my checking accounts in the past. I had a number of PDLs, but have been good and monitor my checking account daily.
I have 2 accounts at Trustco Bank. One is my everyday account and the other is used strictly to pay my company credit card (I rarely use this and keep the minimum balance in it so that I don't get charged for the monthly fee). I have never had a OD(intentionally) on either account.
Trustco Bank is not the most modern bank.
I have been reading a lot on these forums during the past few nights, so I decided to join. Even though I have read through a lot of posts, I found a lot of them referring to PDL's and since I don't have any PDL's, I thought that I would write out my personal situation.
I have roughly $23,560 in unsecured debt that I would like to get rid of.
I live in Pennsylvania/PA and I have online payday loans from United cash loans, cashnetusadotcom,
ezpaydaycashdotcom, and arrowhead investments. i know i dug myself in a big hole. i owe a decent amount on all of
them. I was doing some digging on here and i saw articles regarding online payday loans not being licensed in certain
states.
now if that is the case with these loans, does that mean i dont have to pay the financing fee over and over again and i
just pay off the debt? example: i owe UCL $390 and i can only afford the $90 fee until i pay a couple other lenders off.
I know this is irresponsible but I received a PDL from someone and can't figure out from who. The only thing that shows up on my bank statement out of the normal deposit is:

I tried calling that number and it was a fax machine. Anyone know what company this is
I'm interested in getting on a debt management plan to pay off my credit card bills. However, I'm worried that it will mess up my credit during the payment process or when I'm finished paying the debt in full. What is usually the case with credit scores after you have consolidated debt. I've heard many different things and wanted to know for sure. Thanks.

I am new here but have been reading many other posts. From what I understand I should first close my bank account. I actually won't be able to do this since my account is in the negative. From what I understand reading here I can either freeze my account or deposit only or block ach. I then should send ACH Revocation Letters to the PDLs. I live in PA and I hate to say that I have 11. I kept getting new pay day loans to pay the other ones now I am in a mess. I have actually paid well above the original loan and fees on some.
