I live in illinois. I have an ach transaction from Check n Go that is supposed to go through my bank for a PDL on friday which my bank account is in the negative. I called and they will not give me an extension to pay this. If it gets returned and they wait until my next pay date my mortgage payment will not clear. Can someone give me some advice?

2 questions here... 1. Is saying " don't call my work or refferences since you have a working personal number for me " good enough to get them not to call everyone else, or do I need something in writing? 2. Since I'm going to default on a storefront pdl, I know they will take me to court. Does a civil judgement give a time frame for paying them? Or do they just garnish wages? I've never been sued before, so I have no clue what's going to happen, or if I even have to be there for it. Though I'm not looking forward to a server comming to my work ps...im in arizona

I have 2 judgments already issued and a 3rd in the process. One is for a car loan which car was repossessed and the other is for a credit card. The pending judgment is for medical bills. I reside in NY and I am wondering if bankruptcy will clear these judgments or not? I am aware if I file fast enough I can stop the 3rd but since I'm using legal aid it won't be fast enough so this 3rd judgment might be ordered as well. Can and or will all these judgments be erased with the bankruptcy or not? And or is there a way to have them cleared with bankruptcy?

Per the advice on this forum I sent the Cash Spot AKA American Consumer Credit a letter via email, fax and regular mail stating I was closing my account. I have overpaid them by 292.00 which I'm sure I will never get back. Anyway the only correspondence I get from them is the reminder that they will be debiting my account. Any idea what to do when you get no response ?

I live in Missouri and have the following payday loans: Storefront: A+ Cash Advance, took out $350, have paid them well over that amount, current on this loan. Loan N'Go, took out $300, have paid them at least that amt. so far, current Advance America, took out $475, have paid approx. $220, current Money On Time, took out $200, have paid $30, current Payday Money Store, took out $200, have not yet made a pymt., current Internet: BIG, took out $275, have paid them approx.

I just received another voice mail, at work which I saved, from these idiots telling me that I was going to be arrested today. We are a smart group of people can't we come up with a way to get them out of business??

I live in NY and was issued a Cross Country Credit card in 2001 which was supposed to help rebuild my credit! What a joke. They gave me a credit limit of $500, none of which was available for use, due to all the initial fees. Here it is 7 yrs later and they are on all 3 credit bureaus, showing as a charge off, under the name APPLIED BANK for $1285!! After doing some online research, this company has class action lawsuits in several states, NY being one of them, due to their rip off tactics. Some people even say that after paying it just to have it removed, that it still wasnt removed.

Most likely not, knowing these jokers, but after I thought I was all done with paying my debt, I've got another collection agency on my back. Thing is, this one claims I still owe on a Citibank card (BP/Amoco) that I settled with ANOTHER CA one year ago! Actually, there's still more to that story. When I settled with the original CA a year ago, I got a call a few months later from another CA about the same account that was just settled. I fax them my confirmation that it was settled, that was the end of that. A few months later a DIFFERENT CA called for the same thing!

Got a debt collection letter from the "Law Offices of Faloni & La Russo, EQS." At first I thought I was being sued but then I realized they are simply running a debt collection agency out of their office - or primarily that is what they do.
