The BK exemptions are so confusing. I'm in Cali. I have 3 cars worth $9k, $1K, and $3K. I have a boat worth $10K. All of them are paid off. I don't have any loans for anything that I own, as I am walking away from the house that I own and will be leasing. If I file ch. 7, will I be able to keep the cars and boat because I don't have a home anymore? How about other things that I own like music equipment or computers?

I have 3 payday loans that I have not paid on and I want to know if they will go on my credit report?

I need some help fast. This company has continued to call me on my cell phone and work, they have also called my boss but I intercepted that call and did not transfer. THey have thick accents, and have used several names that i have also seen online that are the same as other people who have been called. I have seen this online in different places that they are a scam. The receptionist was on break. I know they will call again. This was a loan from Cash net and they sold it to AIS Services LLC.

The SOL on debt in ma says 3 years for "Recovery of Property". Does that mean that if you have a vehicle reposessed- it will only be on your credit for 3 years?

I am creating a payment plan for some debt- and the settlement letters they have sent me have crazy high interest that seems to keep increasing every month. Is this allowable? I live in MA, and I do not know what the interest cap on old debt is in my state, or where to find that info.

So I just put a deposit only my account and this Friday my paycheck is going to be a live check. I have a question about what to do next. I will be filing Wisconsin Chapter 128 to consolidate my payday loans but I am wondering should I contact my payday loan lender letting them know that this is what I am doing and that my trustee should be contacting them soon. And should I also send them a C & D letter? I will not default on them until Friday. Let me know what you all think I should do. Thanks
