The letter said he needed to respond within 30 days, How should I deal with these people? Call the original creditor? And do you think they would deal with him..I had heard these are nasty ppl to deal with..

Sorry this is posted a Anonymous but I did register for the website as MattG73 but its not recognizing me. When I try and re-register it says that email address is already taken. Anyway... On 8/1/2012 I received the $2600 loan ($2525 deposited) from Western Sky. A few days later the loan was transferred to Cash Call (go figure). I have paid a total of $881.42 in three payments to date but I cannot afford the payments of $294.46 any more.

I know they are a scam but how do I get them to stop calling me? I get several calls a day, I block their numbers but sometimes they call my parents looking for me. The last time they have called from 1-443-478-3961 and requested i call a 855 number. The first time i called i told them they are not legit and i need proof if i owe a debt, he threatened me and hung up. Do i just need to change my number? If i change my number how do I get my disconnect my association with my parents house number.

I have a credit card that was charged off in 2007 for 750.00 but looking at my credit report its says 2370.00, why is it so much now? Also starting last night Allied Interstate is calling me about this debt all of a sudden and it shows the account was updated on credit as of 12/06/2012 can they still be contacting me about this debit, should I try to settle the accout of what should I do?

I do have another question. My friend has a loan from Western Sky. It was then transferred to Cash Call. It is a $10,000 loan. She has already paid $4600 and they say the loan balance is $10700. Is there a way for her to get out of this? I have read arguments both ways. Any success stories? Tips? Anything? I read a letter that they sent after somebody tried to say they were only paying principal. Western Sky, actually cash call, said the contract said that they were bound by reservation rules, blah blah and so they still had to pay. What would your answer be to that?

I am wondering if anyone has successfully dealt with Spot Loan, former Zest Cash? About 2 months ago I closed bank account, notified Spot Loan that I had overpaid, and was no longer sending payments. I have only been notified a couple times from them, but did receive email yesterday from "fraud specialist" asking me to call them and get payments set up. I keep ignoring them. So has anyone actually ever gotten them to write off loan that is paid in full, due to them being an illegal tribal lender?

I live in Oregon and had gotten some online loans from a few different places. After getting help on this site, I decided to close my bank account and send email letters to the companies that I copied from this site. Yesterday I got a call at work from a company called NCS with the number 855-751-4633. They said they were a legal department of some kind and that they were going to serve me papers. They gave me a case number and said they were representing Anasazi Group (a place where I did receive a $250 payday loan).

I got an email response one day from a guy named Harlem Walker Indicating that he works for Fast Track Debt Relief Services, and is willing to give me a consolidation loan of 5% for $2000 for 2 years. Is this company a scam or not? If you can email me back your response to dho1667@gmail.com
