Hi all, I have been fortunate enough to inherit some money from my family and in the process of trying to clean up some of the financial mess I've made over the years. So, the problem is that I had an account with Verizon years ago that I didn't pay. It's been sold a couple of times and currently "owned" by Pinnacle Credit Services. I paid the account in July and have cancelled check, but they already turned it over to ACA Receivables (American Agencies).

They claim I did not pay my PDL to them back in early 2007. They have now debited, again, my bank account for $400 and plan on debiting for another $80. I called them and they claim they do not have a mailing address that everything must be sent via fax. The fax # they provided has been busy non stop for over 24 hours now. How can I find out if they are even licensed to do business in my state of Oregon? They refuse to provide me with an account number, account information etc .. all they say is I didn't pay (which I did) and they will continue to debit.

I live in Texas but have payday loans through other states, does Texas take priority over the laws of other states?

They bought a credit card debt 6 years ago and have been collecting on it ever since. They have my home address and telephone and call constantly (I have caller ID and ignore any numbers I don't recognize). They have had 2 different attorneys send me correspondence in their name. I live in NC and have waited and waited for them to file suit but they don't. They just continue with routine collections even though I've done nothing but ignore them for 6 years. Why won't they file suit?

I need mailing addresses for the following pdl's: MyCashNow,Ten Dollar Payday/MTE, Paycheck Today MTE, and Oasis 1 Marketing. If anyone has any of these, I would appreciate the info.

Two years ago I went to the hospital for an emergency. I provided them with my insurance and figured that all would be taken care of, and I would merely pay a reduced(insurance paid down) amount. Months went by and I heard nothing from my insurance company. Suddenly I started to receive collection notices from Aargon Collection Agency in regards to my hospital visit. They stated that I failed to pay the hospital for my visit. I explained to their Rep that I had attempted to pay them and provided them with my medical insurance's information. The Rep.

Does anyone know if BahamasMarketingGroup(BMG) or CashAdvanceNetwork (part of MTE) are legal to operate in the state of Texas?? Any help greatly appreciated.
