Is there any reason I should not send a c and d letter to all of these? I have sent one to one click, united, impact, and one step so far.... Any suggestions from here?

Anyone had any dealings with this folks? This is who Huntington Bank turned our over drawn account over too. I was offered a settlement or monthly pmts of 273 for 6 months...Not sure what I can do this minute. How do things go with these law firm collectors? Any Advise? Thanks Reny

I settled for the balance with big, the only problem I gave them my new account info. Do you think I am in trouble or do you think they will take out what the emailed me and be done? I'm scared that I will have to close this account and go through everything again.

This afternoon I got a call from whatever collection agency HSBC uses saying that they are going to get in contact with their legal department to see what assets I have blah, blah, blah, and that when i do go to court i can't leave until i pay something blah, blah I've been unemployed for a long while now because of health problems that just got resolved, and now this oh joy.

Hi, I have been a lurker here for a while. I have some pdl's and from reading others stories I have called and made some arrangements. My question is regarding a company called Cashback Payday Loans in Nevada. I did an online pdl with them.. for $450 + fees of $562.50 I did 4 automatic roll overs & then I called them to make an agreement. So they agreed to have me do 5 payments of $112.50. The first one was just the refi fee and then the other 4 would be to pay off the loan.

I just want to know until when i am going to continue paying this loan?

can collection agencies legally haunt you with toll free calls to your family as well as yourself for services NON rendered? example: making an appointment, then cancelling it, yet the business places your non serviced appointment in collections?

I have 11 internet PDL's and I closed my bank account on 7/25/08 to stop the cash advance payments. The bank worked with me so I know none of them are going to get through. I enlisted the assistance of PDL Assistance but the PDL's are saying that they do not work with them on getting these settled. Can someone tell me what to do next?
