Is Geneva Roth Legal in Iowa, how do I find out? They want me to pay it off today, I closed my account and I'm going to email a c&d but I want to figure out what I owe them and have the ammunition for a settlement. Thanks for all the help and support, you guys rock

Hello...I had a $279.00 loan back with cash2day4u back in 2006 and I made MANY payments toward this loan....then I changed bank accounts and did not pay any more. I have not heard anything from them until today...I get a call at work stating that they want money or they are going to call my supervisor and then the payroll department to have my wages garnished. I asked for a total of all the payments i had made to them back when I was paying and I was told $948.00 (OMG!!!).

I learned about a credit repair company from my brother who used them to remove inquiries and deliquent accounts from his credit report in order to raise his score and get a better loan rate for a mortage loan. According to him it worked and only took about 6 months to start seeing improvements on his credit. We live in louisiana and is that really possible? I don't have alot of debt, just old credit cards like Premier, Ochard and cards that don't give out high limits anyway. Should I use this service my credit score the last time I checked was 445. I need to get my credit straight.

I first want to thank everyone who helped me yesterday on this site. I have effectively 'blocked' any and all ACH transactions (and otherwise debits) on my account, except deposits. i also spoke with the woman who is the head of the ACH dept at my bank and to my surprise, no problem at all. In fact, one of them was showing as pending in my account today and she is returning it as 'account closed'. Further, because i deal with a smaller, local bank whom i have been with for many years, they made me exceptionally happy to tell me that NOTHING will get through that account.

Hello all, I have been on here for the past 3 weeks and I am on my way to breaking the cycle. I have had 1 PIF notice since logging on for the first time so I am very excited. I already closed my account and redirected my pay to another account. Im getting alot of calls from GFSIL and Cash Today Ltd those people are playing hardball but i will not budge. As far as CTC, I have had probably 20 or so loans from them over the past year. They take the fees and Principle 15 days after the issue date in full. I now know that the rates and fees are outrageous plus they are illegal.

I have gotten calls on my answering machine for the past two days from 866-570-6085. I checked the number out on this website and it came up on here as a place called National Credit Adjusters. The posts on here make them sound like a very sleazy company. I have not called them back. I would like to send a cease and desist/debt validation letter but I do not know my account number or anything with them. Can I still send a letter? I hate to call them back because I have learned the hard way that calling back these sleazy characters just keeps them harrassing you more. What should I do??
