What is the best way to go about getting the original amount of a debt that was sent for collection and then sold to other collection agencies?

I need any info pretaining to this company MTE financial Preferebly an adress of some sort

How do you get these morons to stop the calls. I've paid my loan off months ago and they have been harrassing me at work and at home several times a day

Can someone explain to me why THINK CASH is legal?? I think I saw that somewhere. I am in Ohio and why don't they have to abide by Ohio laws. They said that they are licensed in Ohio and I could find their license number on the website. Well I can't. I am agreeing to pay $50.00 a month and she almost laughed at me. I borrowed $500.00 and the payments are approximately $163.00 a month. I have already paid them $163.00

RECIEVED A SUMMONS TO GO TO COURT ON 8/4/08 FROM MIDLAND COLLECTIONS AGENCY BUT ITS FOR MY MOTHER WHO DOESN'T LIVE WITH ME AND IS NOW IN A NURSING HOME DUE TO A STROKE. WHAT CAN I DO ON HER BEHALF?

Just got our first bounced payment email from discountadvances.com. the CPDCustomerServiceatCreditProtectionDepotcom address bounced back. Anyone got a good email for these people?

I am coming to this forum in hopes of getting some advice/assistance with getting out of this PDL nightmare. I currently live in Columbus, Ohio. I have no store front loans, they are all on-line establishments.

I just received a text message from a friend of mine saying he got a voicemail message from a Laura Gomez. I called the number and it is to Nation Recovery Services. They are trying to collect on loans from CMG, SSM, Midland Financial and e-dollars. I have never even heard of e-dollars so I don't know where thats coming from. Anyway I went round and round with them asked for agreements with my electronic signature she said she didn't have it. I was nice but firm and explained that I never applied for loans with these people. That I only applied for one with a totally different company.

I had several payday loans and some are paid off, but there are a few who keep debiting my account even though I have set up other arrangements. I always reverse it when they do this, but there are times when it causes me to overdraft and creates problems. I am interested in putting some type of ACH block on my bank account, but I have a few questions. First, does this block ALL debits AND credits? We both have direct deposit - would this stop that as well? Or, does it only block ACH debits? Also, would I still be able to use my debit card?
