Any recommendation for a reputable debt consolidation company to help me. I am strapped with 50k+ debt and need some help to pay off

I've pretty much always had some verson of Money on my computers and I've only recently learned to use it to its full potential. It's great to see a list of all your bills (well, it can be great) so you know what's coming up. If you setup online banking through your banks website you can paying directly from Microsoft Money. Click on it and send it. No more reason to be late. I still double check every single transaction with my banks website and verify it with Money and it's spot on always! Well, Capital One doesn't agree with Money software but, that's okay for now.

I keep getting phone calls from them, but can not find an email address to get a hold of them anywhere. Their website is no help. If you hit contact us, it just gives a phone number. Anyone have info for me? thanks much Laura

I realize I didn't get myself into trouble overnight so it's not going to change overnight but, I find myself amazed at how the information on your credit reports differs between the bureaus. All of my paid accounts show "PAID/CLOSED" for at least one bureau but, the other ones lag behind so slowly. I know I need to be patient but, when I see an update from FORD MOTOR CREDIT within 24hrs on an old account it's hard to believe what I see everyday when I look at my credit report.

I realized that GEMBCHEVRO is listed as a tradeline on my credit report but, I don't know who it is. It shows opened in 1997 and apparently it's now closed/paid. It shows a credit limit of $300 and it's current. It shows two "OK" marks for TransUnion for April and May of this year and I haven't used a credit card for years up until this month. I used to have a Chevron card (listed as CHEVRON) but, it was closed a long time ago. I've sent numerous disputes to the bureaus.... is this some sort of error? WHO IS GEMBCHEVRO?

I delcared Ch-7 back in 2001. Now, through my own stupidity I am back in the same boat. Is it legal to file again?

A relative is experiencing some serious financial woes. They need to file bankruptcy ASAP, and is being referred to a local attorney where he lives through his attornies firm that is not in his district but they are working to refer him locally. What are the procedures for emergency bankruptcy?

Has anyone had this company call their place of employment and actually speak or leave a message for the HR person? This lady called me at work today, the receptionist told her I was away from my desk, then she asked for our HR department. Are they allowed to call and threaten to garnish wages? She also told our receptionist that she was calling regarding a legal matter that I owed them money. Isn't that illegal? They have me all frazzled.
