I had an atty contact me with a grossly inflated amount from an account that might even be out of the sol. I have always wondered as i try to deal with some of these scumbuckets, they are just so rude, how much they actually purchased my acct for? Like if it went from creditor, to collection agency and then a lawyer? i have some that switched hands a few times and i have tried working with the original and then collection agency but their demands i could not meet. Nowone company that was seeking a judgement for 2,000 was Asset Mgmt Corp. Anyone know anything on them?

I live in Indiana and work in Illinois my pdl were taken out in Illinois. I have contacted T&C and not sure if I should go along with them or try this on my own and how to get the phone calls to stop. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Ok both of these are store front loans Check n Go I owe 744.00 I think I have made 2 payments of 130, I borrowed 600.00. 1st payday loan I borrowed 700.00 not sure with charges what I owe. I haven't made a payment. These are internet: Fast and reliable cash I borrowed 300 and owe 375 I think I have paid 3 payments of 75.00 in fees.

Why are all of these debt collectors so IMPOSSIBLE to work with? They are rude, degrading, manipulative and deceitful. Do they really think we have the 2,000 down and 600 per month payments as one once suggested to me. I had to tell them you have got to be kidding me. Now, regarding Zakheim, I surely hope they are fair to work with because they now have my Discover account because Discover lied and said they would keep my account open so i paid the 180 devotedly every month and lo and behold, Discover closed my account.

OMG... I have gone into this PDL spiral and if I don't get out of it soon I will end up losing my house and car. I originally took out one then paid it back, then two and paid it back, but then I hit a rough patch back in the fall and now here it is July and I have 11!!!! Help!! I have been reading through the post here and I see there is hope. It took me over an hour to sit down and gather the information requested so here it is....if any of you have any information on any of these lenders and the best course of action please help!!!

Hello I am looking for help getting out from under the multiple PDLs I have. Everything just kind of spiraled out of control and before I knew it I had more than I cared to think about. And now trying to keep track of them and make sure they don't kill my checking account is pushing me over the edge..

Hello, I am trying to find a repuatable company to beging a debt settlement program. I reside in New Jersey and I contacted Superior debt relief, but they explained that they do not do business with New Jersey residents because it is a non profit state. I just graduated college so during college I used my cards to get me by, which accumulated at 12000 dollar debt between 4 cards. I am begging to miss payments, and each time I miss the price skyrockets of the next minimal payment due. I desperatly need to begin a program ASAP so that my credit does not get destroyed.

Can a collection agency list a judgement and their collection information for the same thing?

I got a call from a Kevin (did not understand last name) claiming to be from Bahamas Marketing Group telling me I owed $580 on a back payday loan (original amount was $200). Then he put me through to an "Officer Roy Campbell" who claimed that there was a law suit against me for committing fraud with my account. "Officer Roy Campbell" was in New York City - I live in North Carolina. He said that I needed to commit to pay $580 TODAY with my debit card - if I did the law suit could be dropped, but if I didn't the law suit would remain and I would end up going to jail for two years.

I live in NC however i took out a loan in the neighboring state of VA, is that legal??
