I signed a stip and sent it back to the attorneys for the plantiff, I know that the court has to know about this, whonotifies the court, me or the attorneys? Do I still have to go to court, this is not a trial but a it says to appear at the clerk's office.

Hello everyone I'm of course in PDL hell and have been trying to escape for a couple of years... my sister in law went through something similar a few years ago and she told me that she just stopped paying the PDLs and they offered her pay-off settlements in the end. I'm going to try for something like that because I do want to pay them off, but they want too much $$$ in too little time. I had just 1 payday loan, until my husband was out of work for a couple of months and then I had to get the other two...I kick myself for getting PDLs. :evil: I have 3 PDLs- all store front.

I was terminated from my job at Baxter International yesterday after being accused of doing something I didn't do, last week they moved their business to a new building, at the end of the week they were packing up plasma samples which have to be kept at between -25 to -40 degrees C which is around -125 degrees F. While boxing the plasma they had the freezer door open for a long period of time and an alarm went off when the temperature went above -25 degrees. I wasn't told about this as I was on break when it happened.

My county (Cook) and the City of Chicago now has an effective sales tax of 10.25%. That is the highest sales tax anywhere in the nation. You know... anytime they raise cigarette taxes they claim it's so that people will want to quit smoking ... I wonder if Cook County is trying to make people quit shopping. It's funny that I can drive 10 minutes west and the sales tax is only 6%. What is interesting, and I would love to see this happen ... the town of Palatine is working to secede from the County over this new tax hike, and either join another county or form their own.
