I got a call today from Intellirisk. My American Express account has been turned over to them. The collector was very persistent and kept saying that he was going to note my file that I was refusing to pay (more like can't pay, but he obviously doesn't care!). Anyway, I asked for his address so that I could send a CD letter, and after I asked persistently several times, he gave me a fax number, but no address. Should I fax a CD or should I wait and see if I get a notice in the mail from them with an address?

Sooo, I've had this credit card debt that I've been going to court for over the past few years. I agreed to make payments, miss some every now and then, and have been going back for payment reviews. I missed a couple months payments, and sent a check to make up the difference last month. Then I realized I missed my last payment review date at the beginning of May. Last week I got a letter from TYS (I think) with the check (endorsed by the lawyers on the back). The letter just said "Please contact the client for information..." No address, name, number, nothing.

I live in ohio and i received a 225 dollar loan form this company. i have already paid them 255 dollar. I have sent them a letter stating that i know that they are illegal and to stop calling. now they are calling about the letter i sent them . how do i get them to stop calling me!

I was contacted by a gentlemen with a debt settlement firm in Florida. He claims it will cost me over $10,000 to become debt free in 12 months. Does that sound reasonable for 50,000 in debt?
