I love the way UncleWulf deleted that one troll's posting over in the CA forum, replacing it with the comment "Troll spew deleted. Have a nice day" in red print. I think that definitely takes the winds out of their sails when they don't even get the pleasure of seeing their garbage in print after it's been replaced. I'm loving it! (No that was not a McDonalds commercial!")

Chase Bank and the National Arbitration Forum. I do NOT want to go through this forum, so, how should I respond to the load of questions sent to me. In the first place, all this info was sent to my previous address. So I never had a chance to respond to the 30 day letter and ask for validation. Lucky me that my ex gave me all this stuff before it was too late to respond, except my time is limited now. And when I do respond, do I send a copy to the forum AND the Attorney, both? Thanks for your advice. :) And, how do I respond?

I have yet to be sued, but i have a bad feeling, lol. I just recently got married in March, and i just sent off some DV letters (which I have read can trigger a "summons response" along the line since I have effectively drawn attention to my account. I live in texas, so the only thing they could possibly go after me for is my bank account (which has nothing worth going after). My wife has a fair amount saved up in hers, is her bank account safe?

I received a summons for an old debt. Before that I have made payments to another ca. Before I received the summons I got a letter from the attorney representing them giving me 30 days. Being scared and I didn't come to this board yet, I made a small payment to them. Right after that I was served a summons. How can I defend myself if I made a payment? Would that show that I am admitting to this. I admit I owe, but this ca is not the original creditor. I don't know how to file my answer.

Could anyone help me with a few questions about store front pdl's in Ohio. A friend of mine has been caught up in a bad situation and I'm trying to help her out, but I don't want to give her the wrong information. Anyway, she has a loan with a store front pdl, she's defaulted already. I was looking at her loan papers and noticed they have the percentage rate as 497.73% which also states, this is the cost of your credit as a yearly rate.

I have 2 Chase accounts that have gone to outside CAs. The one I've had contact with which was not a positive experience, the other I've got the required letter from notifying me they have debt, i can send for validation etc.... My question is, - I have a friend who is a lawyer who is willing to help me with the CA to try to set up a payment plan I can afford. Has anyone in the past used an attorney to help them and if so what was the experience like? Was it a positive outcome?

I live in ohio, i have a storfront pdl with always payday 4 $500 + $75 fee + 24$ return check fee. Of course it has not been paid to them yet, some guy named Deek (sp?) has called me twice and left me messages both time saying, \"u know why i am calling, you need to call me back or go into the store ad take care of your obligation, its time for you to start acting like an adult\". I cant pay that whole amount right now, that is why i hhave not called them back, because i now they are calling to get their money , but i do not have it right now. What should i do?
