i have been in debt for years, and now i want to clear my debt and have no clue on where to start.

We sent a debt validation letter to a creditor in March. We recieved a letter back around the last of April first of May back from them demanding the full payment. (This is a collection agency). They have sent nothing back at all to verify debt. Sent out another debt validation letter the first part of this month. If we get the same results, do we do a CRA...? What is that exactly?

I made the mistake of taking out an "installment" loan through the Check-n-Go website. this loan is funded by the Bank of Delaware (i live in CA) and now when you go to the Check-n-Go website they no longer allow customers from California to take out an installment loan. Is this legal? Do i still have to pay the enormous fees attatched to this loan? Borrowed $1400 will pay back $2,228.

I'm currently serving in the US Navy. A few months ago, I came to terms with my financial problems and decided to seek help. I sought help from a civilian organization that helps military members with financial problems, etc. One idea they gave me was consumer credit counseling. I signed up with a what I feel is a respectable company and began the plan. In March, I was given a summons stating that a lawsuit had been started, and I needed to submit an answer within 20 days. I faxed this to my ccc company, and they sent me an answer a few weeks later.

I am looking everywhere on-line on how to make money on ebay and all I get is these rip-off get rich quick skeems. I really need to know how to do this becuase I know it is a real way to make money, but I do not know how to get stared. Only serious replies please. Thank You, Luke

Ok guys..I got a qm from someone who claims to be an ex-member of this board who left due to "false accusations". They said they read a post I made defending them, and they thanked me. I'm going nuts here, because I'm trying to figure out who the hell it is..I really feel like I'm missing something! I don't remember ever defending someone who left. ok folks....my heart is about to burst with pride here. My youngest, who is 10, is a video game nut. He loves them. Every time we go to town (where there are 2 - 3 used game stores), he wants to buy a new one. Obviously, this can't happen all the time. When he has birthday money, etc., that's what he spends it on. With the recent sharp increase in gas prices, food prices, and the price of everything else, I've had to be creative with my budget, and have been selling all our extra stuff on Ebay to make extra money.

We have a 07 Honda Civic that we owe approx 8K more than it is worth. Got a bad deal and had part of old truck to finish paying off. Now what do we do? What is our best option to get out of the car?
