i have quit a few credit card bills. not behind or late on any just want to pay them off.

I have four payday loans out now, and i live in ms. One is an internet loan and the other 3 are store front loans. Internet loan- 500 fast cash- borrowed 250-owe 325. Have paid one 75 fee. Americash- borrowed 300- owe 365.85. Paid 365.85 but had to rewrite for another 300. 98 check service- borrowed 300- owe 365.85- paid 365.85 about 5 times but had to rewrite check advance- borrowed 300- owe 365.85- paid 365.85 twice but had to rewrite

Has anyone ever heard of this company? i found them online, filled out an app. minimum amount they lend is 5k. They called me last friday to tell me that i was approved for the personal loan, left a number, and the number doesn't work, the only way to contact them is by email from their website. FYI the online app didn't even ask for a SS#, and yet i am approved??

I am a little pissed right now. I sent in my answer 2 months ago and answered the Interrogatories. They are now moving for a default judgment saying I failed to file. LVNV Funding is not licensed to collect debt in my state and I requested validation in the past and they failed to give me anything. They then sued me. What do I do now? Do I call the court house or the attorney for LVNV funding? Do I write a letter to the courthouse requesting to deny the default judgment?

I have suits filed against a couple of agencies for violations of the fdcpa and Florida laws also. These are federal and state laws that were broken! I have had. on a couple of occasions on this site, been told by collectors, or people posing as them, that they will counter sue and in one case "ream my a--!" I would love to hear what they think they can counter sue for. I could use a good laugh. Mods please do not delete their answers unless they are really offensive!

hi! i'm about to get some money and i would like to settle some of my debts and i heard that with a pay to delete letter to collections agencies they would removed the negative and unfavorable info in your credit report.is that truth? i mean,do you have to pay the whole amount owe or it can be done settling just part of the amount owe? thank,many thanks for any info!

Hi, I was wondering......my husband and I are going to start a do-it-yourself debt settlement. my question is..... 1) should we choose not to settle one of our credit cards so that we can start to build good credit after we settle with that card? 2) should we open any accounts, etc. before our credit takes an even deeper dive? ***My husband and I are only 21 years old and have $20,000 in debt. we are not looking to buy a house for another 5-7 years and hope to continue to live in the same apartment. the only other thing we may need credit for is to get student loans for graduate school.
