Well friends, since the time the winner of the last ‘question of the week’ was announced I’m receiving quite a number of PMs saying that the choice was wrong and the admin was partial against some members. Now, my question before you all is that ‘how many of you feel that the admin went wrong in choosing the winner last time? And also ‘how many of you’re not satisfied the way it was managed?’ Some of you have already given us some very useful feedbacks on how to improve the voting system and we are already working on these suggestions.

Hello everyone, I have just received a summons from Asset Acceptance for a debt that has not been paid since May 2003 (unfortunate family circumstance). The original creditor was Dell Financial Services. I live in California so isn't this debt past the statute of limitations? I found this summons on my doorstep this evening when I came home and the date on it is February 28, 2008. Is my next step a validation letter? I know there was an enormous thread on this site on Asset Acceptance but now I can't find it. Any assistance would be extremely appreciated.

United Cash Loans, which is part of MTE financial,offered me a settlement this week via email, because I had filed complaints about them. I filed the complaints under UCL, not MTE financial. They said I could pay back the $210 of remaining principal, as I originally requested. The offer is good until June 15th. Going through my bank statements over the last 2 1/2 years, I have overpaid on some of MTE's other dba's. I filed complaints about Paycheck Today and requested a refund, and they never responded or acknowledged the complaints.

I was trying to get a loan, and my credit is not great. Has anyone heard of Access Financial Services located in Colorado Springs Colorado. I am not sure if it is a scam or not. If anyone has dealt with them let me know.

I was going through my old bank statements, trying to find and sort all the illegal PDL's I've dealt with over the last couple of years. I came across VC Funding, and I did over pay them and I know they are illegal. When I looked up their address, it jumped out at me immediately: 8700 Stateline Road, Suite 305, Leawood KS 66206. You see, I had just mailed a $70 money order to that same address, right down to the same suite 305, on Friday, May 16th. It's Total Lening Inc's current address.

Help, I sent in a list of pdls that I owe from the internet (signed in as jczplace12) and that I live in maryland , what does it mean to my pocketbook if the pdls are illegal in the state of md? What kind of legal action can I expect? I have already closed my bank account and the bank has not let them force it open, kudos to my bank. Thank you for your help and am glad to find I am not alone,got to tell you, I am quite scared right about now.
