Hello. Last year my sister who lives in Ct. used my SS# to obtain a cell phone with AT&T/Cingular without my knowledge or permission. On April 7th I did a routine pull of my CR through TU and saw a collections account with I.C. Systems for this cell phone account. I live in New Hampshire and have a Tracfone for the simple reason there is no contract. I called I.C. Systems to tell them this account wasn't mine and that I never had an account with the OC. They gave me the address of the account holder and that's how I knew it was my sister.

What does this mean? They can charge 15% of the face value of the check in fees. Rollovers are not allowed. Internet companies do not need to be licensed by TN. As long as they are licensed in another state they can lend legally. They must follow the laws of the state they are licensed in. So, help me a little here. My internet payday people are not allowed to charge me more than a $30 fee for a $200 loan since I live in TN?? Every single one of my loan fees are at least $60...so, technically I could just pay them the $30 and be done with it?

Can someone help me with this? I would have though this would stay on my credit for 7 years....not 10 like it states on my CR. Was I mistaken? THANKS! Status: Paid,Closed/Never late. Status Details: This account is scheduled to continue on record until Jan 2012.

Has anyone ever heard of "Dr. Cash"? They just called me at work telling me that I am in collections with them. She verified all my information and it was all correct. The scary thing is, I never, ever borrowed from them. Are they under any other names?

If my credit report shows that my late pmts have been as the following - is there anyway I can get the '04 detail off? Account History: 30 days as of Jan 2008, Sep 2004, Mar 2004, Feb 2004

Ok, an update on my pdl situation. Two of my four loans are taken care of. I haven't heard anything for two or three weeks from 500FastCash and Payday Yes. Suddenly this morning I received an e-mail from 500FastCash and had to laugh at its contents. First, apparently my cash advance has been written off somehow, or at least that's how it looks. This, after I argued with them angrily, sent them the cease and desist letter, but they kept on harassing me, including calling my family, etc. I don't know if my letters to the BBB, FTC, attorney general, etc. worked; that seems to be the case.

I closed my checking account yesterday and my loans are due today. Now what? Do I need to contact each of my payday providers? I live in FL PayDay One: original $500, owe $613 CashNetUSA: original $700, owe $882 CashCentral: original $300, owe $413 (I think)
