FCD???/ This person named "Calvin Anderson"(with a Middle Eastern Accent) has been constantly harrassing me about a loan i am not familiar with. I have been reciting the laws to him about his illegal activity. The number he is calling me from is 203-672-2117. Does this go by a different name??? I plan on sending this information to the FTC. Thanks!

I am in a situation where I will need to be purchasing a new house. (Renting is not an option.) Unfortunately, I am in a debt settlement program due to a business that I had to close. I've never been late on a mortgage payment, that part of my credit is fine, and I already paid off about eight credit cards on my own. Have nine in the settlement program because of the business. Credit score before this happened was around 780. Do lenders look at the whole picture, and does anyone know of any mortgage lenders that are willing to work with people in debt settlement programs?

I've read many good things about this forum, and would like to say thanks for all you do to help people out. Here is my current situation... I have two accounts originally with MBNA, now with Bank of America (aka FIA Card Services). I had come to a verbal agreement with them at a 20% settlement over 90 days. Well I thought about it too long so they sent my account to a CA, namely Creditors Interchange.

I owe the IRS $10,000 because i didn't report some income. My question is it best just to pay the IRS directly with a installment aggreement, or should I go with a tax relief company. If so, any recommendations.

ok, so i had a remaining balance on a credit card for 60 dollars on discover. I paid it off as soon as i realized it was in collection. I filed an online dispute stating that it was supposed to be deleted on payment, but it looks like it failed. This is what my credit report now states: Rate/Status: Bad debt; placed for collection; skip Narrative Code 1 changed to: PAID CHARGE OFF Narrative Code 2: CREDIT CARD I filed the dispute with a CRA, so i'm not sure what else I can do... if anything.
