Can anyone give me any tips for writing a counterclaim letter? I called the court and she said I had to send a letter but in Massachusetts, I can only sue for $2000 I would like to transfer it to district court and be able to get more from the collection agency if possible. I am also trying to find figures on how much I can sue for for each violation. Also, can I sue for the suffering they caused me? What amount should I enter? I don't want to be sue happy, I just want to be reimbursed for the damages they caused.

I overdrew a 5/3 checking account by about $250. But this was over 3 years ago. I never paid it back and have been trying to track down this debt for a while. It didn't show up on a credit report and Chexsystem just shows NSF. The debt's no longer with 53 but now with a collector. I need to pay it off so I can hopefully get a new checking account somewhere. The collectors haven't found me, wish they would. Any way to find who the debt's with now? Also what will Chexsystem report say when the debt is paid off? Will I be able to get an account somewhere?

I had written something a few days ago and I cannot find it so I am writing again. I was 21 when I moved out and had a good job.. I got credit cards and pay day loans and did not know any better. Long story short most have been defaulted but alot are coming back to haunt me. One company has sued me and I have one judgment. This company is LVNV Funding for Sears. Two lawyers handled both credit cares (one for the store .. one was a Mastercard) the one lawyer never showed and I won and now he is appealing the decision. I know this debt is 2004 or older.

i have had karen call me from that the state predisposition office and when i returned her call the number i was given will not go thru. i was wondering if anyone had another number i could use to call them.

Well, I just got off the phone from talking to one of the district managers. She told me her storefront manager physically went into the bank and had been told our account was open and funds were available?

I think I may have found another error. First off I looked up the collection agency that is on my report. It has a address as Cumberland Rhode Island but if I do a search of the phone number, the same company comes up but with an address of Boston Massachusetts. Is that legal? Also I called the original creditor and they said they had no information. I called the agency they sold the alleged debt to and they said they sold it in 4/06. They also have no info on this debt.

Has anyone dealt with a company called Cash n Minutes. Are they legal? Help Please

I am a recently divorced single mom struggling to make ends meet. I am in desperate need of a debt consolidation loan. I have good income (annual salary $50k) but lots of debt. My credit score isn't so good. Can anyone direct me to a good lender that would work with someone in my situation?
