One of the biggest problems on my credit report is the amount of inquiries. The majority of them are my fault, because whenever I went shopping the cashiers are always offering: "would you like to apply for our card and save 10% on your purchase today?" and in the past, I never knew that your credit report being pulled up could knock quite a few points off your score. So foolishly, I said "yes" every time. Well, now with that knowledge, the past few months I have not applied for any cards nor other lines of credit in order to help raise my score and keep the number of inquiries down.

I have B of A. I finally got this account closed. but im afraid they'll force it back open for the PDL. i kept telling them to put a hard block on it but they wont if pending transactions are on teh accoutn (which i was waiting for one to clear and it finally did, some atm debit) anywho.. has anyone had a problem with them with THIS?

I have $30,000 credit card debt that I can not pay. I tried to settle with the company but so far have not been able to do that. I have an appointment with an attorney to discuss bankruptcy but hope others can answer a few questions while I wait to see him. I plan to file for bankruptcy singly since my husband knew nothing of the debt and did not contribute to it in any way. I do not work. Most of our big shared items like furniture were purchased by my husband. When filing bankruptcy, are the items he purchased for the house only his? Or will these things be considered?

I have been paying on a online payday loan for one year. The original amount of the loan was 350.00 but somehow when it was deposited it was in two amounts. For the last year they have withdrawn 75.00 and 75.00 every other week. I have no idea how to stop the automatic withdrawals because I have not contact number. It is CMG and EME that is listed on the bank statement but the numbers don't exist. Will my bank stop the withdrawals if I ask them? What else do I need to do to NOT have to pay anymore. Thanks

The Loans have defaulted and they now have begun stalking me by phone and have sent one email each. Whats the next step , do I send them the cease and desist letters by email? Im in Maryland so they cant have my wages garnished, and my HR/Payroll person wont proceed with a wage assignment unless it comes from the state/federal government. They arent stalking me at work yet, a call here and there. Thanks In Advance. Im calling the Maryland Commissioner of Finance Today to see what steps I should take with them.

My car was repossessed about 5 months ago so, they sold it and of course I have a balance of $6,000. I get a call from Sentry Credit advising me of the debt. I offered them $2,000 settlement, but they said they have to get approval from the OC (Wachovia dealer Services), so after a few days they called me back and said that they will only take $3,081 in two separate payments. If I accept a payment plan they wanted 10% down of the full balance and about $250 monthly for 3 months, after the end of 3 months they will review my account and decide to offer another settlement amount.

I currently am in the process of declaring bankruptcy. Yesterday, my attorney told me that he thinks I should try credit counseling and a debt consolidation group instead of bankruptcy. I am sitting there shaking in my shoes completely scared that all these defaulted payday loans would show up on my credit report. NOT EVEN ONE THAT WAS REPORTED TO A COLLECTION AGENCY DID. He laughed at the payday loans and told me to quit talking to them and they will eventually go away. He said they can't do anything to you.. they cannot garnish your wages in PA and they are all lunatics.

To whom this may concern- I found an inquiry pon my credit report. I would like to make payment on it but would like to know how much I owe and or how to pay it.

I am glad that I found this forum. I currently have two loans (1) Cash Call monthly payment is $216.55 which I have defaulted on because I can no longer pay them. The original loan amount is 2500$ and (1) Think Cash for 1K my payment are 97.14$ biweekly. I have been online for several hours now and I have to decide what I am going to do. My last payment for Cash Call was last month. They do not stop calling, its true what they say. The call 5 times a day at work and 15 times a day on my cell. Think Cash I have not defaulted as of yet. My payment is due next week.
