Citibank

18 years 1 month ago
I had a Citibank master card that expired and went unpaid. It has been 3 years now. I live in a 4 year SOL State. Does Citibank often sue for old debt? My ending balance was 4400 and now I am sure it is about 9000 because they charge extreme interest.

If you've used Check into Cash in Champaign, IL you might have a serious problem. The payday lender has been leaving customer's personal information including Social Security numbers, addresses, photocopies of driver's licenses and other personal information out on the street for anyone to find. Luckily, that someone was a newspaper. From the News-Gazette: Wow. That's something," said Roberta Hazen, who with her husband, Roger, has taken out payday loans from Check into Cash. "Why did they just dump it? Nowadays you should shred everything before you throw it out.

Chargeoffs and Bankrupycy

18 years 1 month ago
As a result of medical problems I was unable to pay my CC's. They were charged off then bought by CA's. Can I file for bankruptcy against these debts even though they have been charged off? The CA's have ruined my credit so I won't be losing anything by filing for bankruptcy. At least I won't be hasseled by the CA's.

Need help getting out from four PDLs

18 years 1 month ago
Okay here is my situation. I keep stumbling across this forum in my search for a way out of this mess I have gotten my family into. I handle all the finances in the household - not something I want to do, but something I have to do because my husband wants nothing to do with it. He tried it for 2 months and it was a total nightmare, with bills going completely unpaid and the checkbook not even balanced once. He told me he never wants to hear about our finances unless there is a problem that they will garnish his paycheck. He said to just pay the bills and he will make the money.
