I paid off my payday loans in Dec 06 yet Friday I got a call from someone named Victoria Pagent saying she was calling on behalf of Apollo and the usual threats of taking me to court. I've moved since then (TWICE!) and can't find the PIF letter - all I have is my bank statements , certified mail receipts and money order stubs (as the last payment was made via moneygram) Has anyone else had this happen? What did you do? Thanks!

She mentioned that she was due to come back last Monday, I thought. Just seems strange that she hasnt posted since. Does anyone here talk to Karen outside the forum, maybe? Just wanted to make sure that she got back from her trip and that everything is ok

I have several payday loans - how do I find a company that will help me consolidate them? If not, I don't think I can juggle them and rent, car pay, food, etc. Half are internet, half are storefront All the storefront are in MO - I live in MO

I was wondering if anyone had contact info for either of these companies... They're old debts on my report the acct brok are from 6-7 years ago but I have 8 bills on my report from them totalling $9214.00 the other is just a $72.0 bill I want to pay up on. Don't know if I should just wait for them to come off my report or what. it's sad to look at without acct brok I would have great credit and only have $2000 in debt :(

Been sometime since I posted due to state telling me that they will deal with loans that I had which were all illegal this was back in August of 07. THe last time I spoke with the person working with was over a month of ago. She said that they would be able to get my money back etc. I have heard nothing and she never returns my calls at all. One Click cash calls me all the time. Leaves same message. I have heard nothing from the others but twice from a collection agency. Is this normal for a state to work this way. Thanks to all.

I've been reading threads all day trying to help myself. I think it's time I just put it out there and asked for help. I have 6 payday loans, 4 mine and 2 in my husband's name. My 4 ach from my checking, his 2 ach from our joint savings. All were internet loans. Mine are from: Greenlight Funds $200 original loan on 1/15/08 with $60 interest biweekly since then. On 3/17/08 they informed me they'd be drafting $25 towards my principal. This was without prompting.

I have a very large school loan debt, a 4000 credit card debt, and a 5000 personal loan debt. Due to the fact that my disabled mother has come to live with me, I find I am unable to pay all 3 debts. What could happen if I do not pay the personal loan debt? I have lived overseas now for 6 years with no plans of returning to the US anytime soon. I have no US income, no savings, no property, and no investments. I appreciate any help on the matter.

I am totally lost and my head is spinning. Been making phone calls to different depts but not getting much help. I hope someone can answer my many questions I have a defaulted student loan. Very old. Principle 19k, interest 19k penalties 9k. Due to unfortunate circumstances I was never in a position to make payments. Now that I have move down south and had a steady job for 2 years I am being threatened with wage garnishment. OK so I get the garnishment letter, I fill out the info showing my expenses.
