do credit repair companies work? companies that claim to clean up your credit report? thanks for any help

Hi everyone, What addresses do I use to send Cash Transfer Centers and the Little Loan Shop money orders? No calls yet, but I know they are coming.

I live in South Carolina and currently have 2 internet PDL's that I feel that I have definitely paid over the amount I'm suppose to. I called both companies and they said that I'm not done paying because I've only been paying the finance charges every week. Is this legal? I read on here somewhere that rollovers are not allowed for SC. Here's what I have paid so far: CMG Group: PDL:$250- They said I still owe $260, but they have drafted $60 every payday, so I have paid them about $600 already. Arrowhead: PDL: $250- Same as above. Please help! I don't know what to do.

This guy called me last night from this number and said his name was Shawn Robinson, the call from number was blocked (private) so I do not have the actual call from number on my caller ID. Anybody know who this guy is? He stated that I should contact him or my attorney and if I do not contact him right away (very thick foreign accent) that he wished me "good luck", then stated his number twice, and never said who he was with or what he was calling about. I do not believe that I have any outstanding PDL out there.

American express, i got behind and they didn't give me a chance to catch up, they gave it to collections after 3 months. what can i do now

Can anyone help me here. I paid James Lombardo $500 fee to get started on my debt settlement and he cashed the check but since then Ive sent 3 emails to check the status and he hasn't responded to one. Is this normal or am I getting screwed here?? Shouldn't he at least keep his customers informed??

I had always heard that credit cards can be a huge temptation. But because of my overconfidence, i ended up learning the hard way. I always thought that i was wise enough to use my credit cards within the limitations and i would never let them get out of control. What i didn't understand was that they are like the quicksands who slowly draw you in. I had a good income and me and my wife were simply overjoyed at the prospect of finally moving into our new home from the rented apartment that we had been living in since marriage.

My one reference did answer the call (he recently had surgery and was napping) and told them that he hadn't heard from me for several years. I've informed the other reference of the situation and asked her not to answer unrecognizable phone numbers. If she does, deny, deny, deny. Anyway, I think they said they were calling from SMPD? Anyone know of this organization?

whats the credit score needed for a fha home loan.i saw somewhere where they have a program to buy a house with 100% financing and no money down anyone here do this and how high does the credit score have to be.(any one from fha here)

Ok, I believe I have found the source for the regular $90 ACH debit that has been coming out of my account every two weeks (listed as Fox Enterprises). I believe it is from Apollo Group - I did a PDL with them in April of 07 - just found the email and it says they will rollover/refinance my account until I contact them - so they have been rolling this over since April of last year! I am sending them a letter and canceling ACH for them - does anyone have an address?
