Is it possible to remove inqueries?

18 years 3 months ago
According to my credit report I have 14 credit inquiries (that count) in the last 12 months. 10 of the inquiries are from 2 different banks in a one week period. I applied online for a loan with each of the banks and they ran my credit a number of times as they went through each dept (I also called and they ran it again). Is it possible to have these removed? Do file a dispute with the cra or with the bank? Thanks for any help!

cashcall

I could not believe my eyes and ears.Last night there was actually an advertisement for cashcall on TV in which they actually posted the amount of payment and the 96% interest rate on the screen. Then just as the add ends there is a voice telling people to be careful and not take out a loan if you cannot afford the 216.00 payments every month.I could not believe my ears.I immediately thought of all of the people on this site who have had so much trouble with this company.I wonder if this is a last ditch effort by this company to attract more unsuspecting customers, after all I had not seen an

Really Annoyed with Experian

Last year I noticed a collection account on my credit report for my ex-husband's dental work. I wasn't sure what it was at first and just disputed with the 3 credit agencies, they all came back and said they verified the debt. So then I contacted the collection agency directly and they told me about the dental bill.

A Real Loan Company?

18 years 3 months ago
I am trying to get out of debt esp. with some PDL's and thought I might get a small loan....maybe not so small? But I went online and applied with a company called Empire Direct Lending. They are supposed to be i MN? I received a call that I had been accepted for the amount I applied for, but have to Western Union collect them $1000 for the insurance. I also have to send them a paycheck amount, my license and SS... the acceptance letter is from NY.

Summons & Complaint

Hi, I am in New York and I received a summons and complaint taped to my back door from Cohen & Slamowitz. It did have an Index # written on it but no court stamp, judge or even signature from the plaintiff's attorney. I don't recognize the plaintiff at all but with all the bank mergers who knows where it originated. I sent a certified debt validation letter with return receipt requested so I could find out where this came from. I also went to the courthouse and verified that it was filed there as well.

hi I am self employed and have a small business store front. I get several calls here at work and have asked them to quit calling me at work and they reply "you mean YOUR business YOU own?" Yes I do own it but it is where I work. I cannot deal with collection calls while trying to make a living. Are they allowed to do this just because I am my own employer

Can Anyone Please Advise?

18 years 3 months ago
I just joined last week and I'm not able to send PM's and have trouble logging in. I've emailed Vikas and Jason but haven't heard anything. It's discouraging to say the least. I'm trying once more to see if this goes through as a new post. I have 4 storefront loans out in MS that will default tomorrow since my account is closed. Two are with the same Co. and I'm worried about them working out an arrangement more than the other two. They are not CFSA members but are licensed in their state. I've been paying all 4 religiously, on-time for over a year. Should I call the Regional Mgr.

Nasty Voice Mail

I just got a call from National Bank (I think that is what they said) who is the parent company of Payday yes. This guy stated that he is from the legal department. They tried to call my former employer and I am no longer there. He then got pretty threatening about how they could run the databases they had and they would find my current employer and contact their payroll department to start garnishment procedures. Can they do this? Thanks
