I want to do it myself. I just need to know what to ask the credit card people when I call them. I have several cards and I am not behind on any, but they have all gone to high interest and I'll never really pay them off. I'm talking close to $50,000. Help.

Hello again all. First of all, I am still embroiled with forster and garbus - we're in a lull now. Second, yet another problem popped up. My DH bank account was seized/frozen. Turns out there was an old phone bill from before we were married. So, they sent all correspondence to the old address.

Why do my payday loans not appear on my credit report? They have been delinquent for some time, and I'm trying to now sort them out.

My husband just told me recently about his mess with all of his pdls and he has a lot of them some with the internet and some with the stores is there any one that can help us out with just the pdls from just the stores only because he just informed me that he is taking care of the ones already from the internet but the ones from the stores they wont take care of so please help me out. If you know of someone out there that can help I would greatly appreciate it he needs out of this mess. Thanks

Hello everyone, Thanks to all of you I have received one refund for the full amount over paid to the loanshop. I have fully paid off all of my payday loans thanks to a loan from my sister which I now pay back monthly. So I am trying to get back some money from these loansharks. It was actually a very easy process. I just sent a fax stating the overpayment and the laws for my state and they called the next day telling me they were refunding the money. The other companies are going to be a bit harder. One company wanted to refund me $ 150.00 dollars when they owe me $ 600, I just laughed.

Can I still send a DV letter after I have been sued? Thanks.

I have seen a lot of topics and comments about good/bad CAs. Honestly I think a CA has his work cut out for him. In this day and age, debt is a way of life. You can’t get anywhere these days without credit and the economy is so bad that the average joe’s whole world will come tumbling down around him if he even has one little mishap of life (and everyone has them).

I'm having a very hard time dealing with collections Agencies. Basicly I would love to start getting out of debt, and I realize it's a long process given my limited income and amount of debt. I owe about 5 grand over 4 different accounts. Unfortunately they're all only saying 'oh we can do $600 payments', which for me is pretty unrealistic. Does any one have any tips on how to talk down a better price.
