Just got a collection letter from an overseas online gambling debt..can they really validate this??

Yes, I took out a PDL for a measly 200 from a company called AIP. unfortunately I wasn't able to pay back on my next payday but they got their 89 bucks out of my account. so it's been a more weeks since then, and thus far they have gotten 3 $89 "extention" payments. I called and told them that that is enough, and that they should have gotten their $ plus whatever fee, and not to take any more money out of my acct. They left me a message saying that that's not how it works I will have to pay in full, and until then they will continue to debit.

I have a payday loan through WebPayday...I have asked them not to all me at work, but I am still getting 3-4 calls/day at my place of employment. They called today, and said unless the balance is paid in full by tonight, they will be intercepting any tax refund I get for payment. I asked for a payment arrangement, but they said "only payment in full", before 6:00 pm...Is there anything I can do? Thanks!

I am also looking for a question answered. I have already taken it upon my self and sent out a Validation letter and asked for them to verify if this is my account of letter I revived. They sent me back statements from 2006 till now and nothing else I asked for. How do I even know This is mine.

I hope someone out there has an answer for me, I could not find anything on IRS.gov. My husband and I have not filed a return in about 5 years. Bad, I know. He was laid off in January 2003, and decided to start his own business.(Sole Proprietorship) Since we always filed jointly, mine have not been filed as he has never gotten his papers together to actually do it. We have since separated. My question is, should I file married filing separately going back to the first unfilled return?

I just got a call from an ole company that says I owe 1200.00, but they could knock off $500.00 and I could pay the balance of 700.00, so then I told them that I had already sent in payment, but the person did not call me back as promised when I money gramed that company the set up payment for 100.00. Now they want me to pay 600.00 by Monday. My question is can I pay down these loans (total of 3 pay day loans) until they are paid off?

Do you know what the process of suing is. I have received a regular letter of intent to sue if I don't make payment arrangements in 5 days of the date of the letter but of course the 5 days was over with by the time I got the letter so what is their next step?

I have been in a debt management program since June 07. I couldn't send my payment in December do to health issues. Now I am strapped again and sent a partial payment for January. They sent it back saying they do not accept partial payments. It's all or nothing. And because I missed Dec. they will drop me if I don't mkae full payment immediately. This I can not do. So...I am not worried about the 1 payday loan still in there and have paid off almost half my debt. But I still have 4 credit cards and some medical bills in there. Any suggestions on how I should handle this??
