Just wondering what people use to keep track of their spending... (assuming they do at all!) Spreadsheet? Offline or online accounting software? Or just good old fashioned pen and paper? I have a sneaking suspicion I wouldn't have half the credit card debt I have now if I had of just recorded my expenses as I made them :(

Has anyone used Allied debt solutions and can tell me about them? They said they would be able to settle my debt and have me paid off in about 4 years. For the amount I am in debt, about $30,000, that seemed good to me. I searched for them online and can’t find anything about them except for a web site that is under construction. They might be part of Federated Financial Counseling Services since that was who I was expecting to hear from. I couldn't find anything from the BBB on them either but maybe I did something wrong.

I have no other option left than to file bankruptcy. My lawyer says it will cost me $1500, how does it cost to file bankruptcy? Are there different cost for different bankruptcies? How does it cost to file bankruptcy? Need to thank you for this place. Merc
