I recently had a baby and was out of work and in desperation took out 7 payday loans. I kept taking out one to pay off another and now I am in over my head. I can't afford to feed my kids and I am scared I am going to get into trouble. I have been trying to organize my finances, but I am thrown off by this. I can not close my account because the bank is located within my employer. Please help! I reside in MN.

I have started getting random calls from this number on my cell phone. They never leave a voice message, and every single time I try to call back, from numerous phones, the number is always busy (during the day) or it rings forever, no answering machine, no one answers. Who is this???

Well, my countdown to my son leaving has begun. I have to have him at his hotel on the 28th and he leaves for basic on the 29th. My stomach has been staying in knots and boy, I can start crying at the drop of a dime when I think too much about it. If you have noticed, I have been posting a little more. I have been trying to keep myself busy so I don't think about it too much, so you might hear from me a little more. Love the new job!!! I am working with a great bunch of people.

Well the time has come. These people have absolutely nothing to prove that this alleged debt is actually mine! I know this because I called Weltman, Weinberg & Reis and asked them about it. Basically they ‘ordered’ the documentation over 2 months ago but they have heard nothing, I will just have to wait with them. Um hmm. Fat chance.

New to this, but in need of some consulting. I was wondering if there are any really good debt consolidators that are free, or at least inexpensive, that would be a good resource to go to and get some answers??? I jus don't know where to start and I need some help... Any ideas??? -D

I live in PA and I just went to check on chapter 7. I dont want to lose my house, what do I do, where do I go. I am so scared and I really need help. The money that they ask for to, to file the chapter 7. Where do you get that from. I am in just a hard spot in my life. I dont want my kids to see me fail like this. I am a single mom and tried my best. I know I have no choice but to file. But I dont want to lose my home and where do you get the money to pay the lawyer.

Hi, Can anybody please explain the difference between write-off debts and debts being paid off. Today I received my credi report and I owe money to different credit cards and hey are in collecions now. For 2 of the credit cards i was written as write-off and for the other one it was showing as paid off. Thanks
