First of all, I want to wish all my friends here a very Happy and Healthy New Year!! I haven't posted much, this holiday season has wiped me out! Let's hope 2008 is a prosperous year for us all. (Well, we know that it will be a bit more prosperous since we are smarter about PDLs! :lol: ) I got an e-mail last Friday from Payday Island (after not hearing anything for almost 6 months), that they were ready to send my debt to a collection agency if I don't pay in full. I had to laugh. This is the same company that basically admitted that they were illegal/unlicensed.

I just received a phone call at work from a Sharon Jackson from some legal dept for bad checks (so she says) her number is 904-725-0052. She told me that EasyLoans is filing charges on me today at 10:15 am. I told her that no one is supposed to be calling me and she said she doesnt work for EasyLoans. I asked her to validate the debt and she responded by asking me if I signed paperwork with EasyLoans. She also asked me why didnt I contact EasyLoans with my new banking information?

One Night 4 College Students played till the wee hours of the morning and didnt study for the test which was Scheduled For The Next Day. In the morning they came up with a plan. They made themselves look as dirty and weird with grease and dirt. They went up to the Principal and said that they had gone out to a wedding last night and while returning back the tyre of their car burst and they had to push the car all the way back thus can not appear for the test. So the Principal said they can have the re-test after 4 days..

at the end of october, while i was out of town, i called my bb&t 24 hr automated banking system and found that my bank account was overdrawn nearly $1000. this had been an ongoing problem - the unauthorized charges coming out of my account. for months i had reported issues to bb&t - always with the same "we can't do anything until the charges are put through and then you have to complete the dispute process" stuff.

Spoke with them stating I will not pay anymore money. Borrowed 150. paid back 180 just in fees. Asked for their license number to lend in Ohio. They stated this was an internet loan and they go by Oklahoma Law. I checked Oklahoma law and its pretty much the same as Ohio. I could not find a license for them for Ohio or Oklahoma. alos, can someone please tell me what is meant by rollover? thank you

Happy 2008 my friends! I wish you all a good year! I wish I could be here more, but right now the computer isn't a comfortable place for me. The baby is kicking & squirming about a lot and the place I'm most comfortable is the couch! Baby is great & I go on maternity leave starting 2/1! WOOHOO!

Here's what happened... I'm in my dmp now since September. Well, this month I was short on my payment. I sent 1/2 the money by next day air on 12/27 as the payment was due. I got it to the post office past the cut-off time, so it would go out on 12/28. That's fine. Was supposed to be delivered 12/29-which is Saturday & they were closed. Then they tried on 12/31 (Monday, New Years Eve), but I guess the place was closed. So now the post office is holding the package for 5 business days for them to pick up. If they don't pick up then they send it back to me.
