Can someone explain how a bench trail goes in IL?

18 years 3 months ago
First off - I did post this question about 1 month ago.....but I think I gave too much information & the real question never really got answered. So I'm starting a new post to ask again - hope that's ok. This is in McHenry County, IL for an old junk debt buyer lawsuit. I'm sure I last paid on the debt in 2003, but it could have been 2002 of even 2001 - that is when my financial troubles began due to job loss. Anyway - junk debt buyer purchased in 2005 & I have never spoken with them or sent a payment to them.

What a mess.....again

18 years 3 months ago
I have recently went through a divorce, bought a house and a car along with piling up debt amounting over $13000. I filed bankruptcy 6 years ago and vowed I would never get into this mess again, but here I am. I left my husband with the clothes in my closet and that is where most of the debt has come from. I am struggling and sometimes have to rob Peter to pay Paul. What can I do with this surmountable credit card debt, not to mention the money I owe the lawyer? I need serious help!
