First, I'd like to say a big "thank you" to everyone on this site. A couple of weeks ago I was worried about the fact that my November 15 paycheck would disappear as soon as it was deposited. Because of this site, I closed my bank account, got my whole paycheck for the first time in a year, and within two weeks had PIF's from 4 out of 5 Internet PDL's and even a big refund from one of them. That's the good news... The bad news is that the 5th PDL is from United Cash Loans and they refuse to budge.

With regards to my loans. I have set up my account with T & C, and I faxed in my creditors list. I, however, cannot pay any money until Monday. This is my $195 start up fee. Several of these companies are telling me I have until thursday or friday to make my payments or I am going to court or legal. What should I do?

these guys have to be stopped. they are takling 360.00 a month from me. can we contact FBI internet security people to track these thieves

ameriloan called me yesterday and gave me a final chance to make payment arrangements. I flat out refused and told him that AZ law makes the debt void and therefore I do not owe it. The then goes on to tell me I went on voluntarily to get the cash and even went on to say that since it is over the internet, my contract with them is valid and my state's laws do not apply. I replied, Oh they do apply and they apply to wherever the person is taking out the loan resides.

This situation was posted by a member in the pdl fourm and there was some discussion whether Westbury could really do this. Following advice and info on this forum, I'm workign with the State Financial Office here in Maryland on getting out of my payday loans. Thanks to all of you for all of YOUR help, too! I just watned to post a FYI, if any of you have loans w/ ACHloan.com and they can't get their money from you, you will be INUNDATED with telephone calls. Just now I've gotten 3 calls in a row. Per the MD Financial Office, I've referred ACH to them several times, they have the pohne #, and they still keep calling me.

i have a loan with total lending for $250 which i have already paid $75 it is in default. they come calling me talking about i'm in collections i can either pay the loan off or get a civil action against have police come to me my job and serve mme papers!!! after i hung up in his face he preceded to call me ova and ova again like at least 30 times if not more. i told him that i will report him and they company is illegal and he said so go head i don't care i will continue to call u everyday every hour can he do that
