Has anyone dealt with Mercantile before? I have a credit card that was turned over to them, and I am about to make a call to see what other "options" they offer me, aside of applying for a loan (which didn't work).

IN ORDER TO HAVE ADDITIONAL room for more banks and credit unions, I had to modify it to only a few states on each list...so it will be easier to read but more importantly when I add to the list, nothing will be cut off ...apparently some of my lists were too long. :)

I have two pay day loans: Cashland - $400 borrowed, $460 payback Payday One (which was Payday Select) - $450.80 total The Payday One loan was originally Payday Select. At the end of October, PDS forced me to switch to Payday One saying they no longer handled Ohio customers.

I had written a few months ago here about the loan I had gotten from geneva roth for $300 and was given some valuable information about filing complaints with the BBB and State Banking Dept. However, I also filed a complaint with Missouri Finance.org regarding this company since they were located in Missouri and these people sent me an e-mail saying they contacted geneva roth and was told that I was not a customer with them and so was I satisfied with their response? How am I supposed to prove that I was a customer if I never received any paperwork from them , only an account # ?

maybe 10,000 in debt cant get out. credit is bad, cant get a loan.

I've been contacting a few different debt management places to see what each one would offer me--their costs, fees, what I will be paying, and for how long. This one place I checked with--Capital Law Group--now is calling as much as the debt collectors!!! This is the first place I had talked with about consolidating my debt. They wanted my banking info before even sending me a thing in writing. I told them that I was not comfortable in giving out my banking info without getting anything in writing first, and the gal I talked with (Jamie) sounded kind of irritated.

I need money to pay to for poperty tax by NOv.30th $3749.55, where can I get the money in two weeks with bad credit.

Here is a little snippet I took from the FDIC. It agrees with what I heard from a NACA attorney but I could never find supporting documentation. A Pay Day lender is in most cases an independent contractor for a larger financial institution which makes them a third party lender. Not the original lender therefore subject possibly to the fdcpa.
