Help. I've been in a program with Federal debt relief System since February. I'm getting really scared that I'm being scammed. I don't know what to do. I need some advice.

Does any one have a letter they might have used to give to there bank to close the account or to put a stop on all eft /ach or somthing

Do I have any legal rights to place a stop on wage garnishment in Ohio? I have a hearing to attend tomorrow, to face my creditor, and explain to them why I can't afford the amount the law allows to be automatically deducted from my pay check. They already have a judgement for the garnishment, as I never received a letter for a court date, that is because I am recently seperated at a different residence. When I learned of the garnishment, it was from my employer, so I asked the court to grant me a hearing to represent myself, which is tomorrow.I am hardly making it on the bare essentials.

I owe B. of A. 24,500 dollars and I'm current with payments,but I suffered a jump from 14% to 28% interest in June. I have borrowed money from a sister to stay current, and she has advised me to negotiate a settlement directly with them, for twenty-five percent of total debt to be paid now in one lump sum, that she will loan me. Do we have a chance with the Bank of America accepting those terms? Otherwise, I am looking at the big b, bankruptcy. Thanks for your help.

I just received a call from these people stating that they are requiring that the settled on payment of $280.00 be received in their office no later than 11/30/07 or my account will go to charge off...Does anyone have a clue what this means ? they are illegal in my state (MO) and she wants to threaten me w/ charge off
