I have several payday loans overdue once i got one it was an endless cycle. I live in Missouri and I am trying to find out if what these companies are doing to collect this debt is legal. They come to our house and leave cards on the door if we dont answer, they call my husbands job even though he has told them not to they usually call all of our numbers cell home etc several times a day, and now they have been putting through our past checks to them almost 3 times a week and running up isf on our checking.

I have seen many posts to the contrary here lately, and I don't want someone trying to fight a legal pdl, thinking they are illegal, and get into trouble. So, let it be known that internet based companies CAN get a license in Ohio.

"I don't have a balance." "You don't have a balance?" "I don't need to talk to you, Bye." click. At that moment the receptonist switched the phone to night at 5 PM where you just get a tape. It must have driven him nuts when he called back.

a mr johnson called me today at work (yes, C&D letter faxed) about my account. he stated that I was stealing due to the fact that on 10/31 the bank rejected their debit from my account. I told him that I am not to receive calls at work/home and that a letter was sent to that effect. He stated yes they received this but that he wants the money. he said he will send a wage assignment to my company and also will contact my manager regarding my stealing. I put him off until the 15th to see what I can do next, I also spoke w/ payroll and the vp of the company regarding the problem.

With 5 PDLs, huge student loans, & about to have my car repossessed, also with a bankruptcy only three years ago, where can I find help. I have dried up friends and family.

I am a resident of South Carolina. I have five pay day loans w/ internet based companies. MyCashNow 600 pd 528.20 Americash 700 pd 270.00 Little loan shoppe 200 pd 180 The BMG group 250 pd 225 NetCashUSA 450 pd 135 I have to pay the interest again in a week on these loans and if I do I will be unable to pay my rent. My husband has just lost his job and is unable to help me with these debts. I have a bank account with Bank of America. Should I close or change account numbers or open a new account with a different bank? Could ya'll offer me any advice about how to proceed please?

Has anyone compiled a list of what internet payday loans are illegal in Ohio? Or what internet payday loan companies are legal in Ohio?
