I'm not going to be talking about the collection agencies out there that are just there to do conduct business inside the law. The collection agencies that violate the law, trying to charge outrageous fees and collect on as much money as they can (outside what is legally possible) they target those of financial standing that are middle class or lower income. These actions may contribute to (what may possibly be) the ultimate erosion of our nations financial stability. We are almost like a pyramid.

i have a credit card debt of 23,000.i have income of30,000 plus. my interest rates are at 31%. i cant afford the payments.i dont own a house. im current with all the payments. i have a ctredit score of 669. how can i get out of this mess. thanks ed

i too had dealings with v & k the credit assoc are very nasty and i tried to set up payments the ady became very rude. after nt budging and insisting that if they wanted their money it would be on the terms i offered. that was in july when i made the final payment it is now november and the delinquent account is still showing on my credit report ive called countless times requesting resoltion spoke to gary petrol ( supervisor ) who has promised 3 times now the matter would be handled. despite the fact that ive paid this account there is still a derogatory mark on my credit report.

THE GAY FLIGHT ATTENDANT My flight was being served by an obviously gay flight attendant, who seemed to put everyone in a good mood as he served us food and drinks. As the plane prepared to descend, he came swishing down the aisle and told us that "Captain Marvey has asked me to announce that he'll be landing the big scary plane shortly, so lovely people, if you could just put your trays up, that would be super." On his trip back up the aisle, he noticed this well-dressed and rather Arabic looking woman hadn't moved a muscle.

I started tweaking on my credit reports about one year ago in preparation for a new construction home before the housing industry imploded. My ave scores then were 750 between the three. Since then I have gone from zero credit card revolving lines to over $116K revolving and $20K Line of Credit. These new accounts have opened up some great relationships with creditors and bumped my ave Fico to 775. I know it is not your average success story here,but it is my story. :D

Ok, I'm sorry to be a pain this morning, but....I'm weighing everything and I'm wondering if you truely default and make no attempt to pay right away, how long will it be before they take you to court. It is not my intention not to pay, however I have 7 and everyone can't be paid at once. I still think I'll re-borrow on some and work on paying others, but if I can buy some time, I might opt for that.

Can you give me a step by step guide to consolidating my debt myself

I've been reading all the past post about T & C, and I saw a mixture of good and bad. Is there any who is currently working with them and is satifsfied? Also, can someone explain to me exactly what it is they do? Are they like Consumer credit counseling? Do all PDL places work with them?
