Hi everyone, and I thank you for taking the time to view my post. Due to a current decrease in income I am thinking about consolidating my credit card debt. Currently I have 7 credit cards with a balance close to $7000 on them, all within dollars of their limits. Although I have somehow been able to keep current with the minimum monthly payments, it is putting a major financial strain on me. My credit rating isn't horrible but probably could be better. If anyone has any advice or expirience in dealing with a similar situation your guidance is greatly appreciated. Thanks much :) Matt.

hello jessi can you help me to repair my credit ?

I am a single mom and I need a miracle by Monday 11/5/07. I have over $4000. dollars I need to pay to keep my son and I from being on the streets. I have such poor credit I can't get a checking account. My credit is so bad that I can't get a payday loan. I do have a job but because of illness the pay has been very low. I am very afraid of what might happen on Monday. I also have to go into the hospital on 11/27/07 for surgery and is very afraid of that. I know God is a miracle worker and I need one. I have tryed everything.

i filed a motion to dismiss because of failure to validate a debt.now what happens? i also sent a copy of the stamped papers to the attorney for the plantiff i live in the state of tennessee???

WOOOHOOO you have got to love it. After verbally telling an "attorney" off about an illegal pdl, and sending them a debt validation letter I recieved a very polite letter today. And i quote.

A month and a week later I get a letter from them demanding payment again or they will file suit against me. They had no response to my Validation letter at all! What do I do now? Am I a sitting duck?

I have credit card debt, 3 cards one with 18,000 one with 7,000 one with 3,000 I am also paying my last 8 car payments of 520.00 a month I make bout 1300.00 a month, and have no house. living with parents. I am bearly making it, I really want to pay off my debt, I am not late with any of them at this time. I tried calling one of the credit card companies about my interest, and they were completely unwilling to budge... only 2% on a 24% interest rate, which would make it 22%. I dont know what to do, I used these cards a lot for schooling & career related expenses.

I have received a letter from midland credit management for an amount that 2 months ago was at $897.56. Now it is at $1,495.94 How can this be? The initial bill due was $400. What can I do about this? Can they charge me this much money for a $400 bill?
