I am waiting for responses now from UT, MO NV and another DE complaint, BBB has given the other PDLs until monday of nxt wk to reply, and yesterday received a letter from the DE dept of justice on Cashadvance.net aka NLS (no wonder they settled) I also received a letter from a MO US senator that I filed a complaint to regarding the storefront title loan company and her office states that they contacted the appropriate individuals and that they are to give my complaint a "fair and expedient review". I hope this means something good.

Is payday licensed? I just recieved a letter from a collection agency saying that I owe them $770. Which is not the case. I borrowed $500 paid back $425. Closed my account back in August. I live in Pa. I am going to write to the collection agency but wanted to know if they are licensed.

I was a victom of id theft. I need to know if I owe a credit card balance and it over 10 years and they where included in my bankruptcy but never filed the debt with my bankruptcy and now they want me to pay in full (cash only). I don't even have money for food and this debt is 10 years old. What can I do about this I thought if they fail to file on my bankruptcy they are s.o.l.

After doing a search for them I found this forum. Their BBB rating is horrible and I am more than concerned about going with them. Can you give me the names of some companies that are reliable, honest, and good to deal with?

I just received an email from the DE BBB regarding my complaint on CashAdvance.net aka NLS and they attached a letter from the company stating that loan PIF and nothing owed. yipppeee, this is the 1st of many..

Can a collection company come after you 25 years later for a debt that you tell them was discharged in bankruptcy? They want proof, but I dont have any because it is too old, and can't get any records, because the records archives don't go back that far??? Help!!!
