Sent off my first payment to the consolidation company that will go to the creditors. Its due tomorrow (10/28)...since it was a weekend, I sent it out on Thursday by next day air. I know it got there, so that set my mind at ease. Chase stopped calling maybe 2 weeks ago. That was a shock to me. Not sure if they accepted the proposal or not. I'm going to wait for the consolidation company to process the payment & distribute it. If Chase wants more, they will call me. Felt really good to pay only one bill this month for the credit cards.

Ok here we go again...I just recieved a letter from the attorney Vincent P Cignarale LLC of NY. In this wonderful letter he informs me that our 'debt' to $10 dollar payday was bought by First American Investment CO. and that we owe them 765.00 Now i know that $10 was an illegal company, but I know nothing about this First American or for that matter about Cignarale. If First American is a legal company, can they try to collect for something that was made by an illegal company???

Then chime in here and let me know what state you would like to see next! I will research it based on first post first served. I will also let it be known here if I can't locate any specific debt laws for a requested state. I will also continue to add states at random if no one requests any.

so i have about 7,300 dollars of debt. now i have one low 5.7 percent interest rate on a card with a 1,150 dollar limit on it this is the card i use to transfer my higher balances to since each other card has about 17+ percent interest involved with it. now comes the question...is it better to keep paying as much as i can to this card to pay off the 1150 off of it asap since the 5.7 is an special 6 month thing then will fall to 3.9 back up to 5.7 etc.

Are you better off dealing with payday lenders on your own or using an agency such as Langhorne?

I have reason to believe that Receivables Management may be a DBA under NCO Financial. I know that there are individuals on this website that know how to cross reference various sources of information to determine the parent company but I don't know how to proceed. Could someone please advise me of the sources I need to reference. This is to add to my case against both companies (as I may actually may only have to file suit against one) Thanks in advance JCEMT
