If we all want to help more people the word has to get out, why not "infiltrate" the myspace and facebook world. These two websites have places you can create groups, why not put the work out there. I am not talking SPAM or anything, maybe the gurus like Mike or Jason behind DCC can create pages there also

I was thinking of setting up a topic that lists a state's collection laws (not just the SOL/ bad check laws, etc) but the full wording of each state's laws specifically regarding debt collection and remedies (such as Texas ability to sue under Deceptive Trade Practices). Each reply would be the laws for a state with a message subject listing the state itself and the body being the actual laws and at the end a link to the pages that list these laws/statutes/codes. Can this be done here, would it be permissible under the TOS?

I had medical issues in 2001 which led to an eviction from an apartment. This is now appearing on my credit report w/ the last activity date of 2003. The last rent payment was made in 2001. The statue or limitations should really be up in 2008 because the last rent payment was made in 2001. What can I do to get this corrected so it falls off next year?

Where's a good place to get a quick loan with bad credit? (Without resorting to PDLs :[ )

I cant believe this. Everything was going so well. I just checked the mail and I got this collection notice from FMS INC. In 1985 I got a student loan for $2,500. It defaulted a few years later and went to an attorney who I was paying for 2 or 3 years and got it down to about $1,000 or so. I filed chapter 7 in 2003 and tried to included this in that. I guess it worked becuase this is the first time I heard about this untill now. It is just that about $5,000 has been added on and I am just stunned, I cant really breath to well now. Has anyone dealt with this company.
