I have a very good credit, but would like to consolidate my debt to avoid paying to multiple vendors and I want to cancel some of these accounts. Will consolidating my loan affect my good credit ratings?

Can a law firm take out a judgement on you if you have made payments and they have accepted them

I keep getting calls from this woman from AS and Associates saying that if I don't call her back, she is going to release my case to the local authorities. She claims that 500 fast cash (anyone know their DBA or locale?) is going to have me arrested for check fraud. First and foremost, I have overpaid this company by THOUSANDS and have written them several certified letters to that effect. Next, I never wrote this company a check as they are an internet lender. Has anyone ever dealt with them? Do you know if they are for real?

I need help please. The "Law Office" of Mitchell N. Kay has not only sent us a letter garnishing my husband's wages, but yesterday I checked out joint accounts and found they had put a restraining order on them. We live paycheck to paycheck and one of the accounts frozen is the one where we get our paychecks direct deposited.

My husband and I stopped paying our credit cards with the intent of starting a consolidation program for repayment. Things happened, mainly the birth of our 2nd child, and we couldn't afford to start the program. We later settled 2 of the 3 accounts on our own, but didn't have money to settle the 3rd. I know we should have talked to them then, but we didn't. So fast forward 2 years, my husband was summoned to court in Jan 07 and a judgement was issued for $9200.

I don't know where to start. I am in a PDL nightmare! At this very moment I don't know for sure how many I even have. I am pretty sure it is 7 or 8, but this vicious cycle has me so sick that I just try to forget about them, but obviously I know that doesn't help. When I first started reading all of the stories posted, I felt optimistic and hopeful that I too can get out of this mess, however, now I feel physically ill. I just read a post about South Dakota PDL laws, and it doesn't look good.

I sent ARM Fl a dv. They sent me back a letter collecting the debt for Paycheck Today with a copy of my online agrrement and on a seperate page what looks to be a handwritten list of my payments. This was a $300 loan they say I owe $495. The llist they provide shows I paid $510 already. They are violating Fl law. They told me today when i told them I filed a complaint with them that they will send it back to Paycheck Today. I also asked will you report on my credit report they said no. They said we don't do that the company Paycheck today sends it to will when they get it back will.
