Debt collection is an area where consumers need attorneys, especially when 1) you are dealing with a harassing debt collector, or 2) you are sued by a debt collector. I often recommend consumers look for an attorney, but nobody seems to even notice my advice. Why is this? Can a payday loan company garnish my wages _LEGALLY? the loan is outstanding with a storefront payday loan establishment.

The past two weeks I have been receiving messages on my machine. The caller ID states "Universal Fidel", from 614-789-4821. They are not listed on my credit report. Researched these boards, many who know them state they collect for a PDL from Sonic, however I never have had a payday loan. I want to send a DV letter to them, however don't know what address to use since every post seem to state they are collecting for Sonic. Anyone have suggestions? Thanks!

Much to my amazement, what they were promoting was Nutrisystem! WTF??? So being completely confused, I continued to read on. Yes, they are offering a "free 2 week trial" of Nutrisystem.
