I have signed up with true credit for a few months now and I have a question. My Capital One Auto Loan from Equifax does not show the green ok symbol but it shows every time I've been late with the orange 30. Now Trans and Experian shows the current green symbols. Is this hurting my score by either Cap One or Equifax not showing the times I've made current payments? Thanks

I have a 1900 dollar debt with bowflex thats currently in collections,I havent paid on it for around 6-7 months. I really want to get it taken care of, however the payment arrangments that they want to set me up with, I absolutely cannot afford. I tried to talk with them and set up other arrangments thats more affordable to me, and they responded with them taking up legal action...is there anything I can do to stop myself from landing in a court house? If I send them some money thats less than what they want, will that keep them from pursuing legal action?

Surprising? Not really, considering that they never showed up on my credit report! S&P is still showing up with one reporting agency as owning the debt in question, and I am in the process of requesting validation from them. Makes me wonder if Genesee Valley really was a scam! I have not heard a peep from them since the phone call where I asked for their address to request validation, and was refused. They stopped calling, still nothing in the mail. They have been reported to my local AG, who did respond back that they are looking into the matter.

And here is what I have concluded on all of these internet pdl's and internet lending in general. First off, lenders are required to be licensed in a state to give you a loan IF they are a US based company. The catch, though, is this. If a company is licensed in say New Mexico, and you live in California, and you hop onto the internet to get a loan, they are NOT required to be licensed in California. A company is required to be licensed in a state to lend money if they are actually availing themselves to that state.

Ooook...I think CA's are being pissy little jerk-os. All my letters have this: It is inconvenient for me to receive calls at my home or place of employment; I require any communication from you to be in writing via United States Postal Service. Well when dealing with LVNV I decided to make a call, see if I can get any violations on the phone. I ask the lady why they sick their lawyer- CA on me while the debt is in dispute and not even bother to send validation. The bitchy woman replied in a very snide manner that we sent them a cease and desist so they can not validate.

This rude individual Karen Free (I doubt its her real name) keeps calling me trying to collect on a payday loan from FTR Processing that was discharged in Bankruptcy 11 months ago. She starts out by asking for me (while pronouncing my name all wrong) then proceeds to tell me to grab a pen and paper to write down a number. I then tell her she is not supposed to be calling me. She then puts a supervisor who is three times as rude on the line. They have called me for the past three weeks and I keep telling them to call my attorney and it just ends up in a shouting match until I hang up.
