When I sent my debt validation letter to this company, I stated in the letter to send any correspondence to the address listed in the letter at the top. In a response to a case filed with the BBB, they stated they sent the correspondence to an address they had on file which was given to them by the origionator of the debt. Prior to this account being turned over for collections, I contacted the origionator of the debt and informed them in writing that they had the wrong address and what my correct address was. Evidently it was not changed.

I'm in about 40k worth of debt, however 17k is a car loan (which has been accelerated, though I still have the car, I'm sure it'll get repoed soon) and about 13k in student loans (which are in deferment because I'm in school) and I have about 10k in credit cards, installment loans, and payday loans... about 10 different accounts. Its all my own fault I know, and shockingly it only took me about 3 years to get into this hot mess (I'm 22), I've learned my lesson. But now I just need to know how to fix this. Should I just declare chapter 7 as I have no assets or income?

Surprise...surprise..I just received a thank-you for your payment e-mail from Zipcash. My debt counselor called me last week and let me know they had sent out payments and letter to all my creditors I had on my list. If they accepted and cashed the checks then the agreement was settled. However I received another e-mail from Westbury Ventures stating I still owed them 160 dollars and it was adding up with all the other fees..etc. I needed to call them and set up payments (which they would decided on) or pay in full...caling would take 5 minutes vs e-mail which takes forever.

As ya'll know, we sent off a DV letter to Asset Acceptance on an account they claim to have for my husband. We used a letter from this site as a guide, specifically listing what we required for validation: Quote:

I had 15 Payday loans at one time. I was in payday loan hell where I kept reactivating them in order to make payments on the others. It was literally killing me. I was getting shutoff notices and eviction threats. I had found this site last year but never thought I could get out of my vicious cycle.
