I wanted to know if anyone else here from Pennsylvania dealing with cashcall? I am trying to figure out how they decide who they sue and who they send to a collection agency. I have seen some sent to collections and the intrest rate is dropped about 95%, so if there is anyone out there from Pa in this boat, please respond.

Put your question here ...i recently got a free copy of my credit report but it does not give you a score and like a lot of other people my credit sucks and i have about 4 credit card bills behind and i to was looking for a loan to pay off debtors but it seems impossible to get one though now i just started working with a debt settlement co but i really need this to go away like yesterday

Well I live in NY state where payday loans are illegal. I defaulted on a mycashnow loan about 3 months ago. I was getting lots of calls and emails threatening FBI and all sorts of BS. I closed my bank so they cant get anything there. Its been about 5 weeks, I havent gotten a single email since closing the account. Could it be that once the debtor closes his checking account and they cant get any more $$ they then charge it of and assign or sell it to a collection agency? They may be still calling me, I am not sure. I dont answer the phone if its an 800 number or an out of state number.

how can you figure what your credit score is?

I saw it mentioned in the past that there are a few debt consolidation companies that will work with payday loan companies. Can I possibly get a name or two of people to speak with? Also, I am going to be closing my account this week. I have already stopped my direct deposit and I'm in the process of securing a checking and savings account through Golden 1 credit union. Which letters do I need to send out to my online payday loan companies? Do I do the same with installment loans? What about offline?

I know I'm jumping the gun here, but I know I'm going to be out of work for 6 months after the baby is born in March. I will be paid for the first 12 weeks, but then after that anytime taken is unpaid. Do dmp's usually lower the payment amount or rework it if you are out of work or on a limited income? After the 6 months I'm either going back to my job (if they take me back) or I am getting a new job. Don't want to mention this to the DMP yet as I don't know what I'm doing or how its all going to play out...its still about 4 months off.

does anyone consolidate debt for more than 6 years?i am a hardworking person who has had business difficulties due mainly to two years of hurricanes.i do not want to file bankruptcy,but need some relief and would like to spread my payments out over 8-10 years.help,please!

Does anyone have any info on United Federal Bank aka Platinum B Services. I have posted several issues about these people and their beyond questionable practices. So I am trying to get as much info on these crooks as I can. The only address I can get from is for Arlington Expressway Jacksonville FL. I have heard that this is also the address of Bass and Associates!!! Does anyone know if this is true? PLEASE any info on these crooks is great appreciated.
