I have tried two e-mails to contact folks from this site - no response. Makes me wonder about how reputable these folks are? Please, educate me. Thanks!

I have about 4 to 5 pay day loans. I attempted to contact one in particular today: Web Pay Day Loans - they have contracted: Legal Mitigation Practice based in Jacksonville, FL to settle the account. The loan is $300 - I borrowed 5/31/07. Due to financial difficulty, I closed the checking account (Chase) where they were debiting the pay day fees (extenstions). I even told them so over the phone. They never agreed to my pay arrangements... Upon contacting Legal Mitigation - he advised that I am in trouble with the law, will have legal enforcement against me if I did not pay today.

Well lets see... my experience: About six years ago I had a credit card with Discover bank. While with my exbf, we ran the bill up to 1000 dollars. I tried making payment arrangements with Discover, they kept losing my payments and charging me extra fees until the bill was doubled... then they sold the account to our friends Cohen & Slamowitz CA/LO from hell. The CA contacted me with a paper which looked almost identical to a court order...

aka G R Enterprises. Just received email; PDL will reduce balance. Will take fees already paid as payment in full for original loan! Thanks to every member of this community!!!

Yesterday I received a letter from a collection agency stating I owed them $500+ for a pay day loan, the company was No-Fax-Pay-Day-Loan, of which I don't remember taking a loan out with them just the companies above. I know they operate with different names, but how do I find whether the company is legally eligible to lend money to persons in the state of Maryland?

I have a hospital bill.I filled out a financial assistance application.I got a letter from the hospital saying the application was being returned to me because I didn't send all the required information they needed to process the claim.I would need to revise the application,and mail it back.I never got the application back.Despite my many attempts to resolve this problem the bill was sent to a debt collector.I'm in the process of sending a complaint letter to the Ceo of the hospital about this.My question is,does the debt collector have to tell me if I'm eligible for financial assistance in p

I was contacted by Legal mediation practice in regards to a pay day loan I attempted to make pay arrangements the rep refused and kept stating that would seek legal enforcement on my job or where I live, I then asked exactly what the process was as he mentioned jail.. I owe them the loan, I just needed to make pay arrangements... can they put me in jail for nonpayment?

I did take a payday out and want to pay it back in full I can not find this company there is no phone number. I need my money its crazy how this happened to me again. First it was a company buy the name of Ambassador they tried to take over 400.00 from now this Im done doing Loans online Im worst off now
