I've managed to really do some good work regarding my pdl mess, and will share my story once I have received pif's from everyone. (Admins, if this is in the wrong spot, I apologize! I wasn't sure if this is an OK place for success using companies, or only personal efforts.) This board was where I started my research into debt options (I made a few guest posts as Cruithne), so I thought that now that I am debt-free I would come back and return the favor of sharing my experiences. One of the companies that I defaulted with was One Step Cash, I have not heard from them since April.I just checked messages at home , and someone left a # to call them. I assumed it was a pdl so being the great PDL customer that I am, I called back. Well it was the collection agency for One Step who told me I owed 480.00. I said no, that I only owe 300.00, that I was working on this with the AG blah blah blah. He then said Oh , but it is going to legal. I said ok , but I dont thimk there is much legal can do on an illegal loan. Mr.

Well i tried to create a listing on the Prosper website and they are telling me they do not have a license to loan consumer loans at this time. HAs anyone else encountered this problem?

One of my IPDL's with Crown Lending was sent to Westbury Ventures for collections. I received a letter from Westbury stating that they now own the "past due $300 cash advance" They said the current balance including principal and fees is $480. I had already paid a $90 rollover fee to Crown Lending. I sent Wesbury a debt validation letter. Yesterday I received another letter from them... Quote:
