State Payday Loan Laws Made Simple

18 years 5 months ago
Hello, I've been working to try to get responses from every state to help explain payday loan laws. I've recruited some help! It's not finished yet, but will be soon. I want to keep this stuff all in the same format. Call me a control freak, but I want them to look the same, be easy to read, etc. If you have information you would like to add, please PM me with it and I can add it, or just copy the formatting already done. I really want this to be easy to understand, easy to read, and help people make sense of the laws.

Eastside Lenders settled!

18 years 5 months ago
After what seems like forever, Shaniqua at Eastside Lenders agreed to accept the principal amount of my loan! YAY! What a relief! So, instead of balance of $295 it's only $80, payable in 2 installments! Woo Hoo! :D I'm pretty much done now. The only one I have left is GFSIL and I already know Jenny and I will battle it out forever. If it wasn't for this site and everybody's stories, advice and support, I would still be taking out loans to cover the other loans. Instead, now I'm keeping my paycheck for myself and I've gotten my life back in order.

so called-dumb inexperienced people who dispute?

Okay--- consider yourself a dumb (when it comes to debt collections person as I am)--someone who has worked hard all of my adult (16 years on) life (30 yrs plus --no spring chicken here!) --always paid my bills-- and considered myself fortunate to have been able to do so--and has never been contacted by a CA--so lo and behold-- one day they call yelling and screaming insults and I say "I am not familiar with the company you are attempting to collect this debt for--I always pay all of my bills"--you ask them to mail you something in writing because you assume identity fraud--now--prior to
