Hello, I've been working to try to get responses from every state to help explain payday loan laws. I've recruited some help! It's not finished yet, but will be soon. I want to keep this stuff all in the same format. Call me a control freak, but I want them to look the same, be easy to read, etc. If you have information you would like to add, please PM me with it and I can add it, or just copy the formatting already done. After what seems like forever, Shaniqua at Eastside Lenders agreed to accept the principal amount of my loan! YAY! What a relief! So, instead of balance of $295 it's only $80, payable in 2 installments! Woo Hoo! :D I'm pretty much done now. The only one I have left is GFSIL and I already know Jenny and I will battle it out forever. If it wasn't for this site and everybody's stories, advice and support, I would still be taking out loans to cover the other loans. Instead, now I'm keeping my paycheck for myself and I've gotten my life back in order.

I am being told that I will be served papers at my place of employment. Can they really do that? Is it legal to serve me papers at work?

Has anyone got a call from them? They called me about three weeks ago at work. I told her I was with Langhorne law and gave her there number. I also Called langhorne. Well LAst night she called my referances. I called her back and she said she's been calling me ( a lie because I had no messages from her) How can I make sure she does not call My referances again?
