I have a credit card on my report that I forgot I even had! :oops: It has all these nice little green oks up to date. Looks like its probably been doing this for 11 years. Would I be correct to say just leave it alone and let it do its thing. I would imagine canceling would be bad and I wouldn't even know where the card is now so I can't use it. Also I know this can make people cringe I did end up getting a credit card. I thought maybe making good payments on a card while paying stuff off would be a good idea. Don't worry about spending alot I have learned my lesson times 10.

thinking of filing CH13. What happens when you put down all expenses and Income and the extra money supposely goes to the repayment plan ? Do we continue making our regular payments (expenses) plus give the surplus $ for the trustee to pay the arrearage? Also, we are now on a debt management plan (CareOne) since 4/2007 and is working out fine, do we need to show that in the CH13, and would we have to cancel the debt management plan if we list the unsecure credit cards that are in the debt management plan and let them be pay by the trustee? I am sooo confused!!

How to get out of this cycle?Is setting up a payment plan of my own something I can do. I don't want to stiff them but I have gotten way over my head until I can't pay hardly my regular bills. I have a family and we cant afford to loose our home. Please help with advise ASAP?

What can anyone tell me about total lending and a company stating they represent them called united investigation department of law but when i look for their name i find nothing. i cross reference the phone number they call from and i get united federal bank. any info would help. they are threatening to arrest me Monday morning

I was reading some of the posts on the forum about CASHNETUSA. I see that there are posts stating that they are legal here in Florida. I got worried, cuz I have a pdl with them. I am currently working with Sandra Smith with the Florida Office of Financial Regulation. I emailed her about them, asking if they are legal here in Florida.

Well, they referred me to the Florida Department of Financial Services. I visited their website, and tried to find licenses for MTE (UnitedCash, USFastCash) and what a shock...I couldn't! However, when I tried to download licensing records, I couldn't! I know I have to download Excel but my computer isn't allowing me to finish the process. Has anyone downloaded the list? I know, I know...I'm not expecting anyone to have found licensing numbers of MTE or its d.b.a's but I just thought I'd ask...

My income is less then my outgoing monthly. The credit cards interest is killing us. Our ship is slowly sinking and there is no extra income on the horizon.
